Purpose
To serve as the chief administrator of the school in developing and implementing policies, programs, curriculum activities, and budgets in a manner that promotes the educational development of each student and the professional development of each staff member. The cardinal goals in this regard are to promote: Academic excellence, Moral excellence, Superior management system of international , standards and Growth of the school

Reporting
The Administrator   reports to the School proprietress . Reporting directly to the administrator are: Deputy  administrator, Head of junior school, Head of senior school, Director of studies and Academic consultant

Duties
The administrator supervises all school personnel (both teaching and non-teaching staff), directly and/or indirectly and defines the responsibilities and accountability of staff members and develops plans for interpreting the school program to the entire workforce.
General Planning: conceptualizes the broad goals of the school and plans accordingly to ensure that procedures and schedules are implemented to carry out the total school program.
General Coordination: ensures that the school program is compatible with the legal, financial and organizational structure of the school system.  
School Objectives: identifies the annual objectives for the instructional, extracurricular, and athletic programs of the school.
Curriculum Objectives: ensures that instructional objectives for all subjects are developed, and involves the faculty and others in the development of specific curricular objectives to meet the needs of the school program. The administrator will ensure the curriculum adequately prepares the students for both national and international exams (e.g   SAT, IGSCE etc).
School Enrolment: develops and implements an effective marketing strategy  to enlarge the school enrolment rapidly and in accordance with the yearly targets set by the school proprietress.
Tertiary Institution Affiliation: The administrator will establish and maintain relationships with at least two top tertiary institutions overseas.
Enhancement of Personnel Skills: provides activities which facilitate the professional growth of the school staff and enhance the quality of the instructional program.
Establishes Formal Work Relationships: evaluates student progress in the instructional program by means that include the maintaining of up-to-date students' data. The administrator  supervises and appraises the performance of the school staff and has the powers to discipline staff and students in accordance with established rules.
Facilitates Organizational Efficiency: maintains inter-school system communication and maintains good relationships with students, staff, and parents.
New Staff and Students: signs off the orientation programs for new students and new staff and co-ordinates the delivery of the programs.
Boarding House management:  ensures that the boarding houses are well run to promote the academic and moral wellbeing of the students.
Supplies and Equipment: manages, directs, and maintains records on the materials, supplies and equipment which are necessary to carry out the daily school routine. The administrator involves the relevant management staff in determining priorities for instructional purposes.

Your Profile
Minimum of a degree in any related discipline
At least 10 years' experience in a similar role
